3. Listen to CD#2 tracks 2~58 repeatedly.

2. Complete Unit #22 D-Day: A Decision Of War For Peace (pages 82~86)

i) Listen to the MP3 file for this unit.

ii) Word-process each “listening” vocabulary on your electronic template as spelled out by Kelly, the Chinese translator. Please word-process all of the words regardless if they are spelled out once or twice.

iii) In your own words, word-process one sentence using any five of the “listening” vocabulary contextually. As always, do not use a dictionary.

iv) Listen to all 13 of the “vocabulary sentences” provided near the end of the unit just before the Listening Comprehension Questions.

v) Word-process any three “vocabulary sentences” on your electronic template.

viii) Complete the exercise on page 86.

vix) Using your MP3 file, listen to the passage repeatedly (over and over again). Read aloud the passage repeatedly until you master your recitation with perfect pronunciation and perfect fluency. You will recite the passage in class on 2009/04/11. Your recitation will be recorded and analyzed. You will recite the passage the first time, then by memory the second time. Practice! Practice! Practice!

3. Examine the hidden picture puzzle, What a Game! Identify and color the 14 objects embedded in the image. Bring your hidden picture puzzle to the class on 2009/04/11 to discuss your findings. Be prepared to describe the location of the objects using appropriate prepositional phrases.

3. Listen to CD#2, (tracks 2~40) repeatedly.

5. Look at the hidden picture puzzle. Find and color the letter “F”, 14 fish, 4 frogs, and 3 feathers. Bring your hidden picture puzzle to the next class on 2009/04/11 to talk about what you did.

6. Color and complete the phonics worksheet for Ff: fish, flat, fun, soft, stiff. Bring it back to the next class on 2009/04/11.

7. Look at the picture of Mei-Ling making the letter “F” with two fans. Color it and bring it back to the next class on 2009/04/11.

8. In your blue notebook write the following sentences:

For bonus points, you can write the Chinese translation beside the English word. Bring your worksheet back to the next class on 2009/04/11. Practice spelling those words!

ii) Word-process each “listening” vocabulary on your electronic template as spelled out by Grace, the Chinese translator. Please word-process all of the words regardless if they are spelled out once or twice or if the words come from the dialogue.

iii) In your own words, word-process one sentence using any eight of the “listening” vocabulary contextually. As always, do not use a dictionary.
