iii) In your own words, word-process one sentence using each of the “listening” vocabulary contextually. As always, do not use a dictionary.

iv) Listen to all 7 of the Vocabulary Sentences provided near the end of the unit just before the Listening Comprehension Questions.

v) Word-process any five vocabulary sentences on your electronic template.

3. Examine the hidden picture puzzle, Loon’s Nest Identify and color the 9 objects embedded in the image. Bring your hidden picture puzzle to the class on 2009/02/14 to discuss your findings. Be prepared to describe the location of the objects using appropriate prepositional phrases.

4. The following is the wordlist for the hidden picture discussed in class: candle, snake, pencil, trowel, pennant, saucepan, bowl, sailboat, bird, closed umbrella, penguin, nail, ice-cream bar, flag, pitcher.

4. Listen to CD#1, tracks 71~88 repeatedly.

6. Look at the picture with the two children making the letter “K”. Color it and bring it back to the next class on 2009/02/14.

7. Look at the hidden picture puzzle. Find and color the letter “J”, 2 jumpropes, and 1 jar. Find and color the letter “K”, 7 knives and 5 keys. Bring your hidden picture puzzle to the next class on 2009/02/14 to talk about what you did.

8. Make your eleventh (and final) set of 5 food flash cards (tea, tomato, vegetables, water, wine). Cut out all of the squares. Match, paste or tape the small food pictures on the backside of the larger picture squares that have no words.

9. Bring your textbook, blue printing notebook, plastic folder, and brown envelope with your 152 food flash cards to class on 2009/02/14.
